Absorbance assay:

Working Principle: Absorbance detection is used to quantitatively analyze the amount of biomolecules in a sample by measuring the light absorption value of the sample at a specific wavelength. When light passes through the sample, the sample absorbs a certain amount of light energy, and the remaining light energy is measured by the detector to calculate the absorbance value of the sample.

Application Scenario: Absorbance assay is widely used in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technology to determine the concentration of biological molecules such as nucleic acids and proteins. In addition, it is used in biological studies such as cell proliferation and toxicity detection.
